🏫 Local schools need
Vernaculator is part of ShareWeaver, a community trading, gifting and emergency preparedness app. The two apps talk to each other to help fill needs in local schools: clothing, equipment, school supplies and more.
Students ask for what they need, a parent says yes, and their teacher approves it. Teachers can also list things the whole class needs, so the community can provide them. You bring the item to the school office, and the teacher hands it out.
- Type your ZIP code to see classes near you.
- Tap I can bring this. We hold it for you for 7 days.
- Drop it at the school office with your drop-off code on the bag. That's it.
New or gently used items in good shape, please. Computers must work and be wiped clean. We never take cash or gift cards, and you never meet or contact the students: everything goes through the school office. No student names or photos are ever shown.
Schools will soon get their own world in Vernaculator. Their students' characters star in a weekly cartoon, and the episodes become picture books the school sells on its own Amazon account, keeping every penny for things like after-school programs. Local businesses, charities and booster clubs can sponsor a school's world and get thanked inside its books. How it works · Sponsor a school
