For the Vernaculator: Talking Memes app on Google Play and vernaculator.app, both run by ShareWeaver LLC.

You can delete your account right here, in the app or on the website. It happens at once and can't be undone. Any tokens left on the account are lost.

What gets deleted

Your account (restore code), token balance and token history.
Your @nickname, The Slam clips and comments, and anything else this device posted: corrections, words, ratings, votes, reports, character ideas and quiz scores.
Teen accounts you added in Family, and their usage.
Characters you made at /create, and books you started in Create Your Own Book, with their voices and author photo.
For teachers: your classes, class words, wish list, Town Square stories and comments, class books and semester stories.
Everything stored in this browser on this device (we clear it for you).

What we keep, and why

Purchase records (order number, what was bought, amount and date) for as long as tax law requires, with your email, restore code and device ID removed, so they no longer point to you. PayPal keeps its own records under its own privacy policy.
Books already published on Amazon stay on sale until we take them down, which we do by hand within 30 days. We remove the author photo and payout email right away.
Anonymous totals on our Stats page, which never included who you are.

Delete only some of your data

You don't have to close your account to delete something. See Delete some of my data.

Can't use this page?

Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account" and your restore code (if you have it). We'll delete it within 30 days and write back when it's done.
